Wolf Creek.
Watched Wolf Creek a few weeks ago. Kept me on the edge of my seat, I can tell you! Haven't watched a film this good since Silence of the Lambs. I watched this when I was 10, so a similar feeling hit me while watching - or as the case may be, not wanting to watch.
So, Wolf Creek - a very realistic film! This kind of hook makes watching it more of an experience. Recently saw a similar minded film at the cinema called Gone. I came across it accidently. It's a real shame it wasn't advertised better. The general theme was backpacking - am convinced now that I will never go backpacking. Perhaps I am far to sensible? Who knows?! Being in America in 2000 and seeing Missing Adverts on milk cartons touches at my heart strings. Think it might be the reality that this could happen to anyone, anytime, any place.
Joyful post I know. Had an interesting conversation with workmates about films from early 90s - ones that I always loved were 'Sleeping with the Enemy' and 'The Hand that Rocks that Cradle'. Good movies, that I'll return to time and time again!
